The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on Wednesday 26th February 2025 officially unveiled former national team captain and football icon Mohamed Kallon as the new head coach of the Leone Stars.
Kallon, widely regarded as one of Sierra Leone’s greatest footballers, has signed on to lead the national team until 2027.
His appointment marks a significant step forward for Sierra Leonean football, with expectations high as he takes charge of the team.
Earlier, the SLFA in a confirmation statement of Kallon’s appointment expressed confidence in the new coach’s leadership, believing his experience and passion will inspire the Leone Stars on their journey to international success.
