Korovy Val, Moscow – 18 June 2025: The Honourable Minister of Mines and Mineral Resources, Mr. Julius Daniel Mattai, and his delegation have arrived in St. Petersburg to attend the 28th edition of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

With Minister Mattai, the delegation comprises the Director General of the National Minerals Agency, Mr. Hadji Dabo, and several Directors and staff from both the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Resources and the National Minerals Agency.

This year’s Conference will commence on June 18th and end on June 21st, 2025.

Minister Mattai’s delegation was warmly received by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Yongawo in St. Petersburg, the second City of the Russian Federation, and his accompanying delegation throughout all the sessions.

Minister Mattai is going to deliver speeches in various settings of the forum, and also have several sideline meetings with key players in the mining sector, and engage investors in the mining industry across the roundtable meetings
