The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has announced that AIG Sahr Yomba Senesi, the Director of Training, has been appointed the new Deputy Inspector General of Police.
According to a statement shared on the SLP’s official Facebook page on Friday 21 February 2025, Senesi’s appointment aligns with Section 157(2) of the Sierra Leone Constitution and the Police Council’s mandate.
The statement emphasized that this decision reflects the commitment to strengthening leadership within the force and improving its operational efficiency.
