Mr. Chaudhuri explained that the FCV Group supports countries managing risks related to fragility, conflict, and violence. The purpose of the meeting was to align the assessment with Sierra Leone’s development goals.
Attorney General Sesay highlighted Sierra Leone’s progress since the civil war, including peaceful democratic elections, religious tolerance, and efforts to combat terrorism financing. He noted ongoing challenges such as youth unemployment, national cohesion, and transnational crimes.
Both sides committed to ensuring the RRA reflects Sierra Leone’s priorities and serves as a guide for building resilience and sustainable development in the country.
