Festus J. Lahai is a seasoned journalist, public relations specialist, peace and conflict expert, and currently serves as Information Attaché at the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Moscow, Russian Federation. Hailing from Kenema in Eastern Sierra Leone, he began his media career in 2004 at Radio Nongowa Spin FM and went on to serve in various roles across local and international media outlets. A former sports reporter, presenter, and producer at Radio Mercury, he also served as National Assistant Secretary General of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL). Lahai holds a diploma and a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Fourah Bay College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Relations at RUDN University. He is the Editor-in-Chief of The BALL newspaper.
