Lachaeveh Alberta Caizarine Davies has been crowned Miss Sierra Leone 2025, marking an uplifting milestone in the pageant’s history. Born in 2001, the same year the Miss Sierra Leone pageant was formally established, Davies’s victory represents more than personal triumph. It mirrors the evolution of a national platform that, like her, has grown in strength, purpose, and vision over the past 24 years.
Representing Western Area Rural District, the soon-to-be 24-year-old model, writer, and climate advocate emerged as the winner at the impressive grand finale held on Monday, 28 April 2025, at the Bintumani Conference Centre in Freetown. She outshone 14 contestants from across Sierra Leone, with Miss Pujehun, Mariyam L. Konneh, finishing as 1st Runner-Up, and Miss Bombali, Lala B. Sidibe, placing 2nd Runner-Up.

The final five contestants also included Miss Moyamba, Odia H. Tarawally, and Miss Koinadugu, Kosarow Kargbo, all of whom were praised for their grace, intellect, and commitment to community service. The competition, which combined cultural presentations, interviews, and personal statements, was both intense and inspiring.

Adonis Abboud, Chairman of Miss Sierra Leone Limited, hailed the 2025 edition as one of the most credible and empowering to date. He applauded all contestants for their boldness and authenticity, stating that each one carried the pride of her district and a message that transcends conventional beauty standards.
Board Member Janneh Amara Bangali reiterated the organization’s commitment to excellence and integrity, highlighting the strict eligibility requirements and comprehensive grooming process that each contestant undergoes. According to her, the pageant has evolved into a platform for building leadership, resilience, and social impact.
Since its founding in 2001, Miss Sierra Leone Limited has championed a vision of beauty that reflects strength, intellect, and service. Now, 24 years on, the crowning of a young woman born in that very year feels symbolically fitting, as if Davies was destined to inherit the platform she now leads.
Born on December 26, 2001, in Freetown, Lachaeveh Davies is a communications student at the University of Makeni and currently serves as the institution’s Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. Her passion for climate advocacy was sparked by her growing awareness of the environmental challenges facing Sierra Leone and the world. Today, she uses her voice to promote sustainable practices and inspire young people to take action.

Her pageant journey began in Ghana, where she earned titles such as Miss Project and Miss SHS Ashanti, and was named Student of the Year at Christian Service University College. In Sierra Leone, she was second runner-up in Miss UNIMAK 2021 and later won Miss UNIMAK 2022. She currently holds the title of Miss University of the North and was crowned Miss Freetown 2024, representing the Goderich community.
Known for her eloquence and strong online presence, Davies continues to share her story, her advocacy, and her message of hope on social media. As Miss Sierra Leone 2025, she now carries a national responsibility that perfectly aligns with her personal mission: to serve, to inspire, and to lead with purpose.
