Freetown, Sierra Leone– Former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima, has congratulated Babadi Kamara on his election as the new head of the country’s football governing body.
According to a press release signed by Ibrahim Kamara, Head of Media and Marketing at the SLFA, Brima personally reached out to Kamara in a phone call on Monday to offer his goodwill and best wishes. He also assured the newly elected president of his full support in advancing the growth and progress of football in Sierra Leone.
The gesture comes just two days after Babadi Kamara won the SLFA presidency with a decisive 43 votes during the elective congress held in Lungi, Port Loko District.
Describing the call as a mark of unity and mutual respect, the SLFA said it appreciates Brima’s commitment and encouraged continued collaboration among all stakeholders to strengthen the game across the country.
