The Sierra Leone national football team, Leone Stars, has arrived in Monrovia, Liberia, as they prepare for their pivotal 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Guinea-Bissau on Thursday, March 20, at the SKD Sports Complex.
The squad, led by Head Coach Mohamed Kallon, includes 17 home-based players, accompanied by veteran Major League Soccer striker Kei Kamara. Over the past few weeks, the team has undergone intensive training, and upon arrival, they held light recovery sessions to adjust after their journey from Sierra Leone. Full preparations are set to resume tomorrow morning.

Eight foreign-based players are expected to join the squad in Monrovia, including highly-rated France-based defender Juma Bah, who is scheduled to arrive in camp tomorrow evening.

With a blend of experienced internationals and promising local talents, Leone Stars remain focused on securing crucial points in their World Cup qualification campaign.
