Juma Bah, Real Valladolid’s central defender, appears to be gearing up for a transfer this January. Reports suggest that Manchester City has agreed verbally to secure his signing.

Though the transfer for the 18-year-old is not yet officially confirmed, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano indicates that the deal is expected to be finalized shortly.

Bah, a promising talent from Sierra Leone, initially joined Valladolid on loan from AIK Freetong this past summer and has gradually established himself within the starting eleven at Nuevo Jose Zorrilla.
As Fabrizio posted, Bah might be loaned out immediately after the transfer, with RC Lens being a likely destination.

The two clubs, Valladolid and Lens, recently collaborated on a transfer for Real Madrid target Abdukodir Khusanov, valued at around €50 million. It is plausible that Lens views Bah as a temporary replacement for Khusanov, at least until the end of the season.
This season, Bah has reached the milestone of over 1,000 playing minutes with Valladolid, tallying 14 appearances and receiving two yellow cards. Out of these 14 games, he started in 11, with the majority being in the Copa del Rey competition.
