The match between Old Edwardians and Abacha City ended abruptly due to a power outage at the SLFA Academy on Saturday evening.

The May Park Boys were leading 1-0 when the floodlights went out in the 77th minute, and the referee called off the match.

According to the Premier League Board, the match will resume on Sunday, 2 March 2025 at 10am, from the point it was stopped, with the same scoreline and venue.

The Board further threatened that any team refusing to honour the continuation of the match will be sanctioned in accordance with the rules of the league.

The Board has also decided not to schedule matches at the SLFA Academy at 6pm due to the prevailing risk of power disruptions.
