Saudi Arabia Suspends Short-Term Visas for Nigeria, 13 Others

Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended the issuance of new short-term visas for citizens of 14 countries, including Nigeria, ahead of the 2025 Hajj season. The affected visa categories include single- and multiple-entry business visit visas, e-tourist visas, and family visit visas, according to a report by Gulf News.

“The move is a part of ongoing efforts to regulate travel ahead of the upcoming Hajj season.”

The suspension is scheduled to take effect on April 13, 2025, and applies to nationals of India, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Bangladesh, and Libya.

According to the report, travelers from the listed countries who already hold valid visas may still enter the Kingdom until April 13, but must depart no later than April 29.
