SLFA Reschedules Ordinary Congress to April 5, 2025

The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced a new date for its Ordinary Congress, now set for Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Mammy Yoko Hotel in Aberdeen, Freetown.

A release dated 17th February 2025 mentioned that the rescheduling follows an agreement between SLFA and Moyamba District Football Association Chairman, Tamba G. Gbetuwa, who has officially withdrawn the court case that had previously placed an injunction on the congress.

SLFA furthered that the statement is in accordance with Article 26, Paragraph 2 of the SLFA Statute, adding that the congress will address key matters, including the adoption of the revised SLFA Statute and other crucial discussions aimed at advancing football in Sierra Leone.

SLFA reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the integrity of football governance and ensuring that the congress proceeds in full compliance with the association’s statutes.
