Blackburn Rovers have secured the signing of Sierra Leone international Augustus Kargbo from Italian club Cesena for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old forward, who has earned 21 caps for his national team, has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Championship side.
Kargbo played a key role in Cesena’s promotion to Serie B last season and has previously featured for Campobasso and Crotone, with loan stints at Roccella and Reggiana.
This season, he netted three goals in 18 Serie B appearances, all of which came in the first nine matches of the campaign.
